Lauren is a ceramic artist who lives in Montauk, NY. She began studying Ceramic Arts in 2017 at the Art Barge in Amagansett, NY. Her work is sculptural in nature and combines both wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques. She is inspired by the natural elements combined with a mid-century modern influence. Her teachers include Michele Quan @mquanstudio, Todd Marshard @marshard.nyc, and Kimmi Corwith @corwithceramics.

Create Your Own Ceramic Candle Sticks
In this 90 min Pottery Workshop, Lauren will teach you how to hand build a set of stoneware candlesticks. You will use handbuilding methods including coiling, smoothing and joining. Your pieces will be glazed for you and available to pick up 2 weeks after the workshop. All supplies are included in the workshop fee. Come prepare to create and wear an apron to protect your clothing.
